If The Who don't make it to finals, heads will roll.

I voted for Soft Machine but only because they're about a million times better than the Who.

I have never even heard of Soft Machine, and I voted for the Who... I am glad I joined this board though, if you guys turn me on to some new great tunes, I'd be much appreciative... What songs are worth buying off Itunes at this very moment?

Soft Machine came out of kind of pretty much the same mid to late 60s scene as Pink Floyd. They're pretty psychedelic but also much more jazzy than Pink Floyd.
