There is nothing wrong with Retro Rock if it's intentions are pure. Rival Sons are just that. Rip of the dirty side of Led Zep and Blues Rock and sound DAMN good.

With album artwork from one Storm Thorgesen (Pink Floyd), 2 releases being released only digitally and signed to Earache Records in the U.K ( a long running indie label that predominantly deals with Extreme Metal) and you have a band that are in it for the music first and foremost.

No need to rattle on about their original merits musically because they don't have any but when has that stopped a band sounding good?
