Worst front man of all time

It is possibly the hardest job in a band, but apart from his singing voice, I`d say Mike Love of The Beach Boys is/was a godawful front man. His "dancing" is cringe inducing.
Phil Collins likewise.

Hard to say. I really hate Sammy Hagar, I mean David lee Roth

I think the problem with Phil Collins lies not in his dullness as much as the fact that he had to replace the most eccentric frontman ever. I mean when you have a man who will dress up like a flower for a rock concert like Peter Gabriel, there's no competition.

I think that's a distinction without a difference!

:D

I've seen some old live footage of Phil being lively for Genesis. He was an actor, after all. Still, all in all, he did not exude rock charisma; and he has said he had to work on being more of a stage performer.

Neil Young is a dork on stage, although I like his music.

I agree with Blastingas concerning David Lee Roth & Hagar.

Hey. Neil might be a dork, but he's a cute one, like Farmer Ted. Maybe i just think it's cool cuz my dad and neil young were separated at birth

Here's a few I came up with:

Chris Martin - I don't mind Coldplay, his voice, or their music, but when you're the one representing a popular band the least you could be is a little, well, interesting. I don't think he's a bad guy, but his personality has always bored me and the resulting interviews I've seen/read are about the equivalent of watching paint dry.

Scott Strapp - Creed was never a great band by any means, but they had a few alright songs here and there. They might have had potential at one point but the situation wasn't helped by Strapp's drug addiction, fights, arrests, etc. He had what was basically a failed solo career I don't even remember when and then decided to reunite the band he pretty much ruined...to no success. Gotta say, epic fail for this guy.

Chad Kroeger - Do I really have to explain this one?

edit: I didn't realize this was in the classic rock section at first, hope these still qualify...ha

I am going to say something highly offensive...

I am glad Kurt Cobain died otherwise Dave might not have had the drive to put the Foo Fighters together. I just found Nirvanas vocals so annoying while the rest of the band kicked ass
