How I would line-up the output of both bands in the 70's:

Led Zeppelin I> Led Zeppelin IV> Led Zeppelin II> Physical Grafitti> Rocks> Led Zeppelin III> Toys in the Attic> Houses of the Holy> Get Your Wings> Aerosmith> Draw the Line> Presence> In Through the Out Door> Night in the Ruts

cool beans!

my fave Led Zep is actually Houses of the Holy, followed by Led Zep II

and unlike most Zepheads, I quite like "The Crunge" and "D'yer Maker"

i'm such a sucker for really powerful vocals and Steve Tyler is just right up there, comfortably sitting right beside Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin and Barbara Streisand as my best vocalists allthroughout music history.

Aerosmith covered this original single by journey very good in my opinion. Has some nice harmony vocals.

You`re forgetting Rocks probably one of the best and most influential hard rock albums ever written, especially with songs like Nobody`s Fault.

Dont forget "Back In The Saddle" and "Last Child from (Rocks) also. "Sick As A Dog, etc. the whole album "Rocks"! "Get Your Wings" is a favorite album by Areosmith as well.

And I still think that Steven Tyler has always been a better frontman than Robert Plant Soldier!

Maybe after a couple of beers I`d agree with you. As for Steven Tyler this has to be probably his greatest ever vocal performance, hell its possibly one of the very best songs ever written, this songs gets me all nostalgic and smoochy for a woman. If I ever decide to get married I`d play this at my wedding
