Pfft, nonsense! That's like saying you get tired of listening to Lateralus by Tool. And of course I've listened to that for 3 straight days once. =)

Default Hyde Park

Ok, so sorry to come in at the end of this thread, but did not want to start a new one...

Just saw Aerosmith for the second time in Hyde Park... very good.

Now here is the kicker, the opening band, The Answer, kinda stole the show...

Check them out, they even cover Sweet Emotion. It is on their MySpace page...

Aerosmith was a great band in their day. But let's face it, they peaked in 1976 with "Rocks", so they're definitely the "over the hill gang". Their best years are long behind them. I still love their 70's stuff, but their new stuff just isn't the real deal anymore.

Aerosmith is one of my top 10 favourite bands. They were the first band that I ever liked. I really like most of their old stuff, but not much of the new stuff

I agree with ROCKS. I think it's a sorely underated rock album. They have made the odd tune that merits a mention, but I do not understand the fascination with them .

I agree "Rocks" is underrated. IMO, it was their strongest and best album from top to bottom. "Toys in the Attic" had some great tunes on it, but all things considered, I give the edge to "Rocks".

During their 70's prime, they were considered one of the best bands in the world. Which was an accurate assessment of them at that period of time, IMO.
