60's/70's Hard Rock N Roll

I don't really know if this is the correct genre heading but hey, what the hell. After trawling music for darn near 30 years now I am just wondering if anyone has some hidden gems out there that I am overlooked over the years;

I am talking about hard rock/rock n roll such as the following;

Flamin Groovies - Headin' for the Texas Border
Pink Fairies - Do it and the Snake
MC5 - Look at You and Kick out the Jams
Stooges - Not Right and Search and Destroy

And even stuff that rightly or wrongly came later and was termed punk such as;

Damned - Fish, Neat Neat Neat, New Rose, One of the Two
New York Dolls - Jet Boy
Anything by the Ramones circa 75-77

A lot of the bands above made other songs that I am not fussed about but these 'driving guitar songs' (if you know them) are what I absolutely love.

Also, some quality rare old early metal such as;
Lucifiers Friend - Ride in the Sky, Free Baby
Dust - Suicide

People keep putting me onto some real **** and I was wondering if there is someone out there who recognizes what I like they could put me on to some new stuff.

I have about half the stuff you mention. The other half I have not heard of. While I check them out, all I can offer, ignoring well know stuff, off the top of my head, if you like the Damned - The Cramps Psychedelic Jungle (may have been 80's).

Instead of listing individual songs, I'll give you a few bands and albums by those bands.
You may already be familiar with one or more of them. Some of these might be the type of guitar rock/hard rock you're looking for.

The Sonics might be considered garage rock, but I would easily call them proto-punk alongside the likes of the Stooges and MC5.

Humble Pie's Performance Rockin' the Fillmore is a damn good live album if you enjoy live rock.

And if you want to go deep, check our Fuzzy Duck's self titled album.
