Default The Sonics!
The Sonics are one of my favorite bands from the 1960s, and really raised the bar for the other acts of the early punk and garage rock scene. Yet I almost never run into anyone who knows about them. Are there any other fans out there?

By the way, this is my first post on this website, so... hello to everyone!

They get a fair amount of love on this site. I still throw on their first album semi-regularly. When I want that kind of raw, old school rock'n'roll sound I always end up at the Sonics.

I'm not one for favorite songs, but "Have Love Will Travel" sticks in your head for days, and "Strychnine" is just pure energy

Yeah, "Have Love, Will Travel" is really fun! And I think "Strychnine" was the first song of theirs that I listened to (after hearing the Cramps' cover, and seeking out the original).

And can anyone listen to Psycho without drumming along?
