I was watching the documentary called "Sky Soldier" about the only 3D photographs taken during the Vietnam war. There is a song in the beginning that has the lyrics, "Take me back to the river. To where I can be free". I watched the credits at the end and it says "Music 5 Alarm" along with "Back To The River".
It also gives writing credit to Bob Kalamasz, James P. Quinn, Ray Benich, William Schwark, and Adam Blessings. I have never heard this song before and absolutely loved it. I searched the web but could not find it. It sounds like a late 60's, late 70's song. Could someone please tell me if they have heard this song or know who performed this song. Thanks for your help.

The band is called The Damnation of Adam Blessing. They were pretty obscure.

EDIT: And the song was released in November 1970.
