I'm going to have to put the Stones best stuff from 1964 rather than 1965

I mean in 64 they released Not Fade Away , It's All Over Now , Time Is on My Side , Heart Of Stone & Little Red Rooster as singles. If your going to count the Beatles 'good' stuff from 63 with stuff like I Want to Hold Your Hand or Love Me Do, then I think the Stones can be given those songs.

Well Angie is a great song, I can't deny that.

Heh. Honestly I didn't even think it would be all that controversial of a statement. I've always understood that even Beatles fanboys don't give much respect to their output prior to Rubber Soul. That gives them four years of making good music, five if you like Let It Be. Even if one is to say that the Stones didn't start making really notable music until 1965, the same year Rubber Soul came out, the Stones still put out quality music for at least twice as long as the Beatles.

I think you're wrong about that one. Meet the Beatles, Beatles For Sale, Hard Days Night and Help! are all excellent pop records. And just about any true Beatles fan will tell you that.

Well except for Heart of Stone, those are all covers, I was talking about when they started writing their own material. But whatever, you got me there.

And convenient how you forgot to mention I Wanna Be Your Man. Hmm.... I wonder why. ;)

Haha. I love how you qualify it as "any true Beatles fan" like all those Beatles fans who disagree are somehow fake.

Ok, that was a very snobby and elitist thing to say. I apologise.

But I don't know many Beatles fans who dismiss their early work. So I don't know where you got that from. I think you're very wrong.

And I don't think I'm wrong. Imagine that!

So nah, they both had an equally long run as far as quality is concerned. And The Beatles at least knew when to quit.

I think the Rolling Stones consistently put out good albums from their debut album England's Newest Hit Makers to Tattoo You. OK, some albums were weaker then other but every unpopular Stone's album had at least one or more classic tracks on it. England's Newest Hit Makers and 12X5 even though kind of basic compare to the Stone's later stuff are two very good albums, the first one being one of my favorite Stone's album, I love every song on that album, a lot of classic blue songs, It's All Over Now and Time Is On My Side are classic tracks from 12X5.

Honestly, I fucking despise Some Girls and everything after. The albums after Exile are all decenttolerable at very best.

With some Puerto Rican girls that's just dying to meet you
We're going to bring a case of wine
Hey, let's go mess and fool around, you know, like we used to"
