Saucerful of Secrets was one of the first albums I bought on Vinyl. Its a really good album by them, although sometimes overlooked.

SG sorrow is pretty good. But I like piper at the gates of dawn better. The Mixing is SF is cool but too wierd for me. Its a good album. AND i've only heard a tiny bit of it.

I usually listen on Itunes and sometimes Spotify. CD is much better than Youtube though, just the physical idea of it vs the non physical.

Just use EQ and reverb. For the most part reverb is going to make a big difference. Also recording your vocals DRY straight into the recording mic is bad and you should try using some type of outside...

Actually not. A guitar amp wont be hurt by running a computer through it. Its really the sound that comes out will be somewhat distorted/filtered.

You can do any type of genre in Ableton. Sometimes it takes a while to truly understand the program and get a feel for it.
Maybe try sampling?
Slower tempos?
Two step?

All of these are common...
