Honestly it doesn't really matter. All parts of music coexist. Pick one that best peaks your interest and build off of that. I like to spice things up frequently by changing what I start with though.

I have been listening to Madeon a lot lately who is one of my newer inspirations. Great artist, he evokes a lot of emotion in his work. Last song I listened to was one of his called Isometric.
