Hello Waveforms from last year is pretty good. You can hear Strange Cargo in there - it's very polished but am not so keen on the vocals - haven't listened to it for a while but not liking the vocals...

I'd agree that Thelonious Monk and others are up there with Davis - Coltrane is borderline for me - his best work was while he was in Davis's band. Mingus is just not in the same league for me....
