Yeah I know...that's why I mentioned "My Generation" and their onstage act. Everything else really wasn't punk but those 2 things were the first of a movement.

Nirvana is great. Their music wasn't exactly depressing but it had some sort of dark euphoria to it...it was happy all while being depressing, maybe it was a reflection of Kurt's life.
