Terrible improv, most of his (or other people's) songs don't swing, and there is barely any association with the jazz...

I get good enjoyment out of Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band. They have some good tunage. Sad thing is that big bands, now, are a bit of a rarity and are slowly fading.

Agreed. They're beats don't sound like other rappers. I do like a few songs because of the lyrics such as "A Little Bit Cooler", just because it reminds me of my growing up days :cool:
