Arch Enemy -Their vocalist puts on such a great performance. And she totally breaks barriers with her vocal style. When they first came out there wasn't as many female vocalists doing that style....

If you want to learn guitar I think the best approach would be to sorta teach yourself and get comfortable with it. Take lessons on the side. It definitely helps to have some sort of mentor/teacher....
