Well first off, you can't discard anyones work as worthless.. Opinions are subjective. I'll admit most of his solo stuff is too experimental for me personally. But the empyrean and shadows collide...

The albums fantastic, Tyler is a madman with his lyrics. The taboo appeal and the beats, even the guys voice is just well put together. Hope this guy keeps up the good work.

Its a good song to get you into the genre itself, and it is undoubtedly a fantastically composed song, but I wouldn't say it's the best.. But like I said, definitely a good song due to the popularity...

Josh klinghoffer is a very capable guitarist to fill John's shoes... But I am not really diggin their new stuff. But I respect that they're still experimenting and never staying in there comfort zone.
