I use Pearl, Really good. I also really like Mapex.. And what i've herd Tama seems pretty dam sick too.. I also dont mind Ddrum.. but dont know to much about them..
I hate Ashton.. NEVER EVER!!...

Pearl Forum, Good starting point
I agree on Pearl Forum, really good for price, pretty good design, normal amount of tuning screws on drums, made from Poplar. Not to expensive.

I've DDrum are pretty good as well? And Mapex are an extremely good brand as well as Pearl.. I'd say they would be the 2 top drum brands. I use Zildjian Cymbals and swear buy them, people say they...
