The bass guitar I think you'll find is an enjoyably nice instrument to pick up... like a good number of instruments in my opinion, it is quick to pick up - but takes a lifetime to master. =)

Haha! Thanks for the video Necromancer, Victor Wooten makes it look easy! I finished learning "Panic Station" today, I might try "Dani California" by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers next - the bass in it...

Okay, well I play a 4-string Westfield bass guitar (but I'd really like the MusicMan StingRay 5!), and my favourite bassist is Marta Altesa. =3
