Mae? I'm surprised there isn't a thread...

I'm sure people here have heard of Mae. They're pretty cool, their latest album (the Everglow) pretty much mirrors my life.

I think indie's a genre the same way emo's a genre. I mean come on, emo = emotional. Therefore, isn't all music emo?

Independant labels are getting kind of huge, too. Ex. Epitaph.

I cried the first time I heard "Time of Your Life" by Green Day. Then I really, really started to hate that song.

"You're Beautiful" by James Blunt makes me cry, for my own reasons.

I'll agree with you on the emo front, Max, but I don't think this is a discussion of talent...it's what kind of music you think is the worst.

I'm not a huge Godsmack fan, so I'm a bit bias on this topic. Actually, I'm very bias on this topic, because I really, really don't like Godsmack. Staind is not my favorite, but I like them. You...

I'm a huge Motion City Soundtrack fan, and I bought their split EP with Matchbook Romance. I hate Matchbook Romance, but the MCS acoustic tracks were great...esp. Sunday Warning.

(Max, hi! <3)

Anyway, if you live in or around Raleigh, NC, 96.1 has this radio show in the morning called the Hangover Cafe...all acoustic. I love anything acoustic, and the show is awesome.
