spent two months working for an NGO/orphanage in Phnom Penh, then travelled around Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, and a bit of Thailand (just bangkok and ko tao doing my diving cert.)

Pretty spot on actually. I'm 23, but I didn't do the straight high school - uni - workforce thing. Did one year of uni (fine arts) hated it, quit after first year and ****ed off to NZ for 7 months....
