Tinnitus only does it for me sometimes ... it gets to be like listening to the same record over and over ... and sometimes I want different frequency spectrums than what's implicit in my ear drums...

I hugely enjoy Metal Machine Music. Also very cool is the recent-ish live performance of MMM, and also Lou's current Metal Machine Trio improv group.
