I suppose I'll get the ball rolling on this one. I'm going to go with Barry Lyndon. Days Of Heaven is probably the more beautiful of the two films, but there is much to be said about the grandiosity...

Gonna agree for the same reason. Black Hawk Down is better visually, and is more action-packed, but it's nowhere near as personal or powerful as The Hurt Locker.
