I think they suck because their songs are extraordinarily formulaic. They have that annoying guy who echoes in screams what the guy sings, they have terrible, TERRIBLE A and D minor piano parts that...

i like the keyboards. my friend's band is playing with them in a few weeks i think. other than that, they aren't really unique
