Me too but honestly I think I would be far more productive if I couldn't, lol. Not only can it be a distraction while listening and working, but it makes me research other music while I'm listening....

It won't help in regards to figuring out songs/time per week, but the last.fm normalizer (http://www.associativetrails.com/stuff/normalisefm/index.cfm) is pretty cool for adjusting your artist charts...
