I guess I should have been more specific when I said 'alternative rock', since that label encompasses practically everything. I was thinking more in the vein of Pixies and Pavement. I like those...

I am forcing myself to listen to Bee Thousand at this very moment. I get the feeling that I am supposed to like Guided By Voices because I like "alternative rock". But their top tags are "indie rock"...
