Most of that stuff is too "syrupy" for me. And I don't like clear alcohol at all by itself. I don't mind Gin and tonic with some lime if it's high quality Gin, but straight? Nah.

Recommend me something good but reasonably affordable. So far I've tried Glenfiddich 12 and I dig it. Maybe a little too light for me, but not by a lot....
