Mini humbuckers and humbuckers have the same design, but differ in size, and have different output and tone, but then even among regular humbuckers there are different output and frequency responses...

I have a Schecter Ultra-III with 3 Duncan Designed mini humbuckers which are pretty close to a P90 - I think. I like the sound of the humbucker either bridge, or neck position. They sound better...
