I was a reader in my youth/teens but it wasn't lit, it was music rags. Unfortunately for me reading all those album reviews and those musiscian interviews never rub off me, still horrible at writing...

I always thought Tolstoy was a strong influence on Trollheart. Not so much the realism part, but the massive amounts of words part. Still truly an impressive writing style they both have.
