Honestly, I have no clue why it takes 2 9-volt batteries, alot of active basses take 1, my other one does. I'm not sure what they actually do, I'm sure someone on here knows though.

It's a good solid bass, pretty heavy, I love the sound of it, mine seems to have a different pickup on it to any others I can find online, I'd say it's been replaced, but it's got the Westone eagle...
