"Tik Tok" and "California Gurlz" use the same exact chord progression (just transposed) and Perry's voice in the latter is very produced, totally autotuned and with the same syllabic pattern as that...

Why is Katy Perry trying to become some sort of west-coast version of Ke$ha?

I've noticed that Katy Perry's two most recent hit singles, "California Gurlz" and "Teenage Dream" both sound remarkably like Ke$ha. Their production style as well as lyrical content make me wonder...
