I meant Isis as in the boring, post-metal band. Although calling a post-metal band boring is kind of redundant.

Critics = people who don't listen to metal but dig the chance to praise a metal album without actually having to listen to a real metal album. Same principle behind Isis, basically.

Not really, no. They sound like a boring band who have two speeds: occasionally good death metal (though Mikael Akerfeldt is a pretty damn good DM vocalist) and boring prog, which they jam together...

I can dig Parkway Drive, but after a few songs they all start to run together and I get the urge to listen to better metalcore.
