Did you destroy Megaton, lead the ghouls to Tenpenny Tower, but instead of letting them in you kept them outside until you could gun down every resident of the tower one-by-one like a Rwandan death...

I guess the writer didn't want to throw all that work with her sidequest down the drain. Notice how no other character from Megaton besides the companion was at all of note.

The main story is actually a lot better than 3, but it's a Fallout/Elder Scrolls game so you never want to do the main quests until you're a solid 100 hours in at the earliest.

A solid 8. The world feels too empty once you've finished all the side quests but that first playthrough was magical. If New Vegas didn't exist I'd have to give it another point.
