Audioslave is Soundgarden-Lite. RATM was one of the more heavier acts when they came out and held up pretty well for many years. As with most bands creativity is much more prevalent in earlier works....

I'd say that is pretty average as Satriani goes. The Petrucci song is pretty boring. You should be jocking Tony Macalpine, hes far more interesting then Petrucci.

I actually agree with everything said however the strength of side one on 2112 is pretty amazing. Exit Stage Left is outstanding. I think La Villa Strangiato and YYZ sound better live as described....

The thing to remember with garage bands is they weren't lo-fi for the sake of being lo-fi, it was just the tools of their trade. Harmonic quality is the friend of enharmonic equivalents.

The lead vocalist is awful also. And they stole a riff from the Misfits which is just straight out sacrilege. That band makes me want to punch several walls.
