The hate for 3 seems completely based on the original ending which admittedly I view as one of the most underwhelming endings in the history of any medium of storystelling, but still as a video game...

I actually don't recall any notably awful loads in ME2. I'll certainly never forget those elevators though, how utterly obnoxious.
