I wouldn't know since I imported a high level Shepard, so I was pretty much already there, and even then at points it was damn hard. I relied on Cryo Ammo. It made a big difference...

Thanks Bioware. Followed this franchise for years and all I get for ending choices are different coloured explosions and nothing gets explained or makes sense. Go away.
