Damn, you're right. He's not on the regular versions of either Silent Way or Bitches Brew, I thought he was because I have the complete version of Bitches Brew, which features him on a couple takes....

I've only heard a moderate amount of his stuff, what I've heard is great, although I hear he's kinda sold out (or maybe just decreased in quality) in the past 20-30 years. Anyway, good stuff by him...
