I think Metallica's contributions to this album are more like anti-noodling. Boringly static, with the more lively musical parts provided by Reed. Although I honestly couldn't tell your what the hell...

It had it's moments. The worst were chunky riffs and Hetfield mooing over them. The best were more low key, atmospheric moments.
