I'm in no way qualified to say which one is the best, and I don't know what's going on these days (outside of soma.fm), but to start contributing...

I did go through a deep electronica phase through the Tubular Bells gateway, Vangelis et al, and many others I never got the names of, but personally I'd go Oxygene. That, and Jarre's two following album, got tons of turntable time.

I gotta go re-listen to some of that now.
