i stand before the windows
the stars like snowflakes fall
from the darkened night sky
the cold night air is harsh
and yet soothing against the skin

the threads of time are scattered
across the dark night sky
forming glittering webs of light
to entangle and ensnare or dreams

the skies go from dark to light
flashing colors like dance club lights
expressing emotions to us
that only one's spirit can possess

my lonely steps spounding
against the hard paved streets
my one and only hope burns
igniting like a neon light

dance to the beat
of the silent song
the heavy bass
felt in the heart
the lyrics that are sung
to your soul

i never forgot
the fleeting melody
of my lovers song
setting fire to dreams
and making tears come
to you glowing snowflake eyes

i take it this song kinda sucks. right?
