Christian love

I'm just try to be a father, of a christian love....

If you let me minister, From my loving cup...

I may not be a preacher, but I'll so you my love.IT's A UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.

I wake up on the monday about half past three (3) so I can head off to work, being the best I can be. I wake you up on a week-end so we can head of to church... Cause, that's what my loves' worth. I'm just trying to be a father of a christian love. If you let me minister from my loving cup. I my not be a preecher, but I show my love.... It's an un...conditonal l...o...v...e....

TrampInaTux 12-13-2005 01:38 PM

I don't get this song. I'm not into that whole Christian circle anyway so my view has been clouded already, but I don't think even people who do like Christian music would like this. some of the lines don't make any sense, and it feels as if you have cut out the words that make the sentences make sense just so the whole song rhymes. I would rethink the whole song, and if you really DO value my opinion then please DON'T MAKE CHRISTIAN MUSIC.

A_Perfect_Sonnet 12-15-2005 03:58 PM

That was worse than a Hawthorne Heights song.

madeinNY 12-15-2005 06:32 PM

I don't particuarly like Christian music...but this could be some country western christian thing I guess...but I think you're ripping off Cyndi Lauper there with "Unconditional Love". lol

Aye...keep trying though.

That makes no sense and there is not a flow or anything in the first few lines and it sounds like any other contemporary christian pop (I am not one for that kind of music excluding a few artists) but keep trying and you might get better.

Laces Out Dan! 12-15-2005 06:37 PM

Ill agree that you should keep trying.......But it had no skill

TheBig3 12-15-2005 09:29 PM

First of all let me say im disappoint on two counts.

1. You idiots have to come out immediatly with something to let everyone know you and christian don't mix. Let me be the first to say on behalf of honest writers, religious or not, **** you.

You're closed minded ignorace is appauling, I don't care if you like the song, but when you feel the need to come out of the gate saying that it says "im not here to review this song, 100%, im here to say what I think about all things christian. You're a disgusting subtraction from the writing forums. Don't even come here if you can't review things strictly on a literary basis. No religeous person ever opens their review with "well im not into the whole secular thing." The youth here is apparent.

2. This is my own opinion, but I wouldn't review anyones songs with a post count below 200. These people come for reviews and never contribute to these forums again. They don't review anyone elses songs, they don't contribute to good discussion, they don't even come to spam.

I tried to be nice to that ass clown Bazerk Gorllia because I thought it would keep people here. I forgot people are greedy and ignorant. If you write and want things reviewed in this forum, it behooves you to not review anyone but someone whos at least put their time in. If they want to leave after 200, fine whatever, we got something out of them, but below 50 I normally don't say anything but "don't review this" and at 200 im still skeptical, but we can't exactly demand a 1000 post count.

MURDER JUNKIE 12-15-2005 10:05 PM

If you are going to write Christian stuff it has to sound like:

STRYPER!!!!!
To Hell With The Devil!!!

TheBig3 12-15-2005 10:48 PM

/\ ok thats was incorrect but it was kinda funny, But im still pissed at the **** head responces above.

TrampInaTux 12-16-2005 12:42 AM

I'm sorry but Big3 I disagree with you. We (well me at least) were telling Sweetness that Christian Music isn't our thing because then she would know that our opinions would be more slanted than anyone elses. And you may be asking that if we like Christian Music then why are we reviewing her song? I've reviewed this song because I thought that if you want to make it as a writer then you have got to know peoples responses from any background-christian or not. So, me not being a Christian Music kinda guy, I thought that I'd let her know what my response was. And as far as you don't think you should review anyones song if they have a post count of 200 or less because they never contribute-look at my post count. I have written songs, reviewed songs, plus I created the most popular thread in this forum. So I would think more carefully before you start throwing accusations around....****head.

TheBig3 12-16-2005 07:40 AM

Let me remind you sir, there are countless threads from one-off's that override anything you've done here in your 30 posts. If what you said was true (and I disagree) it doesn't erradicate the times this forum was used for someone else personal gain and then they left. You are an alleged exception...****head.

As far as your not being christian, it has nothing to do with the words. If you didn't buy christian music, then you wouldn't listen anyway. Its like saying to can review a play when you don't go to the theater. No one cares if you don't go, because people who don't go to the theater won't be part of the populous that sees it. I hope I explained that clearly enough. At any rate, either the word are good, or they could be better. And let me point out, Sweetness has not been back to comment one way or another. Has anyone else seen her post in another forum?

Just as I thought, why don't you and your trite name shut the **** up and realise you're not the only person in this forum.

TrampInaTux 12-16-2005 12:03 PM

You are right, Big3. I stand corrected. But in the end that was just my opinion, so next time you wake up on the wrong side of your mom please don't take it out on others...

Ladies and gentlemen, I rest my case. Would you want any peice you've written reviewed by this man?

TrampInaTux 12-17-2005 02:03 AM

whether they like it or not, I'm still going to carry on reviewing their songs:)

either/or 12-24-2005 04:37 AM

hobojesus if your view on christian music is slanted because of your atheist ways then you are just a ****ing dumbass. take a look at all the album of the year lists and take a guess at who is number 1. thats right sufjan stevens. and you know what he is?

a devout christian you ****ing tool. but would you tell the maker of the album of the year not to continue making music? i dont think so you prejudice ****.

i bet you hate black people too. better not let them make music cause of their race. you ****ing tool.

TrampInaTux 12-24-2005 05:23 AM

For god sake either/or yet again you come into a thread, misunderstand what I am saying and make a fool of yourself. I was helping the girl out by telling her what people from other forms of life will think of the song. I was only helping her out. If she wants to become a successful artist then she must have to know what other cultures will think of her music. Look at Evanescence-they have Christian music and they appeal to a wide range of people, including myself. I am not an atheist, I am in fact a Catholic-not a devout one, but a Catholic all the same. I thought I would review this song and tell her how to improve, but before I reviewed the song I thought I should tell her that Christian music doesn't really appeal to me. I think I give a good verdict on why I didn't like the song, unlike some people who said lamelamelamelamelamelamelamelamelamelame and then never even explained why it was lame. If I was Sweetness, I would rather have someone giving her an opinion on the song and how to improve it than someone just saying it was a poor attempt and to not say why it was poor. There are some styles of music I don't like but I can still judge how good some of the songs are without liking the music. I can tell if it will appeal to that certain demographic without being a devout Catholic or whatever.

Crazy Luv 12-28-2005 01:47 AM

It seems like the whole thing is a rough draft. But if it wasnt, then its not a good song. Some of the lines dont even make sense. It has a point, but...

Unconditional love-Cyndi Lauper

riseagainstrocks 12-28-2005 03:06 PM

hobojesus, you can't expect to make inflammatory post and then not have anyone "yell" at you. Especially on musicbanter. I mean c'mon. If you had explained (like you did in your latest post) in your first post your reasoning, than no one would be fighting.

TrampInaTux 12-30-2005 05:28 AM

I probably should have explained myself first-but now that I have, let's all be happy families again!

either/or 12-30-2005 06:12 AM

agreed.

madeinNY 12-30-2005 08:56 AM

A big, huge, rather dysfunctonal family at that. lol
