Lost In Space

We were trying to catch the stars/
On our way to Mars and we/
Could not find/
our piece of mind so we/
pulled the cord on our brains and our breath/
we floated into the sky and drifted to our death/
Now we see/
that they do not know/
what is happening/
in a world where we don't go.../
Now they see/
that they don't know/
what is happening/
in a world where they don't go/
woah/ woah/ woah/ ohhh/

They suddenly stop and the world gives up/
The searches end and the cases shut/
now who are we we're insignificant/
the world forgets we did something magnificent/
So they close their eyes and pretend we're gone/
But we're haunting them for as long/
as they live/
this is it we know it's the end/
so kiss a lover and say goodbye to a friend/
Now we see/
that they do not know/
what is happening/
in a world where we don't go.../
Now they see/
that they don't know/
what is happening/
in a world where they don't go/
woah/ woah/ woah/ ohhh/

I guess the world forgets/
We fall on broken nets/
Will they remember our faces/
Now we're Lost In Space...

Gah-if only the Lost In Space film had just been released! We might have had a theme tune!

How about, "now we're lost in all the spaces"? I like that better. And title: Lost in all the Spaces.

The world giving up/forgetting could be a high ending, or maybe they're ghosts and got killed somehow? Who's world is this? Personally yours or a world we all have access to but don't often visit? I really recommend being less vague. You need to drop a few more hints. I think that's why I don't usually like your stuff, when I can't understand it.

I like the first two lines but it fell apart for me after that.
