What happened to what we used to have?
Think of everything we lost
Now all we have is memories
Want to just forget it all

Remember when you wrote me the letter
It smashed me inside
I realized you wouldn’t want to be with me
No matter how I tried
I wish you would know the pain I felt
You crushed my heart and everything I have

Living on our memories is pointless
I want you back
All the places we’ve been
And now you’re gone
All the people that said
We were perfect
And meant for each other
I guess were wrong
