As the reflections of the neon lights
pass upon the windscreen
and the back alleys can only be seen
from a glance in the rear view mirror
I can look to my right with one hand on the wheel
and from that dress you're wearing
and the way your hair's done
I know I've made it
Her hands are in the air
she's falling into bodies
and they're pushing her back
to where I can almost grab her
that hair of yours is now
flattened right on your face
I can tell by your lips that you're screamin'
but I just can't hear it
Walkin' outside I pass the queue
leaving with my lonely arms
past the borderline obsessives
cameras in tow
I can't remember where I parked
and everything seems blurry
I close my eyes then open them
but the world is still turning
The lights appear as sparks in the dark
when I want to get away
all I have to do is think straight
but the straight and narrows far away

I made this without thinking, just a collection of things brought together. You can probably really notice that, but I'm bored waiting to go out, so I thought I'd do something on here, keeping the songwriting forum going with endless posts.
