I set aside one day a year
To go and see the family One day, from all those many months I find it's quite enough for me As mother burns the turkey And father falls asleep I find solace in this christmas punch One shot per minute throughout lunch Singing carols merrily Christmas cheer left in my wake This brandy is too much to take I throw up on the christmas tree Silent night, silent night Not a chance... I start a fight I hit my brother with a cracker Then, drunkenly, shred present wrappers "The jumper you got me looks queer as hell Its at least two sizes too small If you don't like the sock I bought Then you can suck my jingle balls" Singing carols merrily Christmas cheer left in my wake This brandy is too much to take I throw up on the christmas tree . |
