The "If" In Life

The "If" In Life

If I could grab the stars
And rip them down from the heavens
Just to see you smile, I'll do it in a heart beat
Your smile can brighten up the darkest skies
When you turned and walked away
From the bonds we created
The foundation we made crumbled
Before my very eyes
Our relationship reached it's climax
Just to plumit to a fast conclusion
I loved the way your hair swayed
In the wind on the sunniest days
I miss the way you said "I love you"
When I stare into your eyes
I can get lost in your love for hours
But reality set in
You've turned your back
On all the memories
We created for ourselves
You held my heart in your hands
Feeling every beat
The slow tightening of your fingers
Ready to squeeze
Another chapter in my life
Filled with sorrow
Looking for someone to fill the void
To fill the emptiness inside
I can't give my heart away
Because there's nothing left to give
The pieces it has been shredded into
Can't be pieced back together
The puzzle of love
Is too difficult to figure out
I thought I knew all the in's and out's
Only to be burned from loves long lasting flame.

Ok it's very cliche I think but I need opinions please :)

Sorry man, you said it yourself. But at least you KNOW it's cliche, you can build from there. Look over it again and give it your own personal touch.

Is there any certain parts or is it the whole thing?
