Offer up your earthly pleasures
So you can afford to let me die
And dig a home that's never better
Than when you stay put and I

Break through the living boundaries
The walls conceding to the glow of
My figure, draped unkindly,
Along the hallways and windows

Witness to our rusting bedroom
As your blood trickles through the sheets
You're wrapped into a dark tomb
Made comfortable by my heartbeat

Fading slowly into yours
Taking not for granted but for free
The pulsing hum of your core
Joining now the ghost of me
