Daddy F*cked Me by Crowe/quill

Daddy Fucked Me

Sitting in the corner watching light dance against the walls,
I watch my mother lay another log on the fire,
"Be good son, you mind your father" and the door shuts,
There is something sinister in the way he moves,
An awkward elegance to everything he says,
He smiles and says "I'll mind you" with a grace
I've never seen before and I smile back,
And say "I love you dad," he says "I love you too,
And I'll do anything you want right now, but let you go."
Still I smile, I don't quite know what he means,
As he approaches me slipping out of his clothes
I stand, awestruck,
As he slips me out of mine
"No.." I weakly say,
As shock grips my heart,
Pulling their strings,
"I'm only seven."
He grins and comes behind me,
"That's young enough to be old."

He spits on himself and eases me over,
Screaming comes soonly after I grip onto a pillow.
I try to scramble towards the door,
Daddy says, "It'll only hurt more!"
My eyes roll into the back of my head and clench my teeth,
I hear the blood drip to the floor.
Blacking out I look up and thank God,
And my father puts me into bed pulling the covers to my chin.
He caresses my cheeks and looks at me fondly,
Daddy punches me in the ribs and grabs my throat strongly.
"Tell anyone and I'll kill your mother, sleep tightly son,
I have to go say 'good night' to your brother!"
When I hear the bedroom door close and the whimpers begin,
I creep down to the kitchen stepping softer than sin.
It hurts to walk, but I don't give a fuck, I grab a knife
Bigger than my head, sharper than human skin.
I open the door, my shadow hits the ceiling...
My dad is bent over, and soon he will know the feeling.

Shivering, shaking, I held a locket of my mother
I let her face become forever burned into my mind,
While I crept up the stairs trying to be quiet,
Letting everything I knew,
Every image of love leave me,
As I held her picture like a cross
But I knew it wouldn't keep me safe,
As I eased open the door and saw his sleeping face,
His naked body still covered with my blood,
As the moon light, so sickly and white laid across his pale skin,
And I hoped god would forgive me,
As I stepped toward his sleeping body.

I told my brother to stay quiet,
He was limp and sobbing in the corner.
I looked at myself in the reflection of the blade,
Seeing my young face turn into hardened steel,
I caressed his cheek and he coughed in response,
He rolled on his side like some kind of subconscious invitation.
You don't have to ask me twice, Daddy, you just have to ask me nice.
I felt his blood pumping, hot against the cool night,
Hotter still against the cool blade of the knife.
Scream Daddy, yes, "Please stop" I've heard that before!
Please stop squirming Pa, "It'll only hurt more".
His eyes roll back into his head and I know he hears,
He hears his blood dripping to the floor.
Finally he lays still, his face frozen in a flash of horror.
"Brother" I say, "Go close the door."
We lay next to my father, finally loving this old man.
What we are, a loving family lying together again.
I hold my brother's hand and put my father's arm around us.
Hugging me tight. Making things right.
We fall deeply into our soaked pillows,
Tonight we will sleep safe and sound.

I see you two are writing about your childhoods!

sleepy jack 12-20-2007 11:57 PM

Burzum just wishes they were as metal as us.

Ace 12-20-2007 11:58 PM

Edit: The person on the phone with me right now, keeps asking me why I'm laughing so much.

Crowe 12-21-2007 12:07 AM

Didn't have a pops actually! Thank goodness, my own song scares the sh-t outta me.

Ace 12-21-2007 12:09 AM

This is the best thing I've seen posted here in a while, simply because I can't stop ****ing laughing.

Is that bad? =|

Crowe 12-21-2007 12:14 AM

Let's map Ace's humor threshold.

1. Incestuous Rape with a Preteen(s). Check.
2. A father being killed by his son with a large knife while he sleeps from the exhaustion of the aforementioned rape(s). Check.
3. Two young boys sleeping with their father's freshly murdered cadaver and mentioning that it's an improvement. Check.

Yep, that's bad!

Ace 12-21-2007 12:33 AM

Oh well.....

PaperHurricanesAndPlanes 12-21-2007 07:57 AM

Seek help.

Blain 12-21-2007 04:26 PM

Wonderfully written, but damn Ethan and Crowe, you guys could've touched on a better subject lol.

sleepy jack 12-21-2007 05:49 PM

Don't worry, we'll touch on many more. This is the beginning of a partnership better than Lennon/McCartney, better than Morrissey/Marr better than Wolf/Wolf. This is the first of many masterpieces.

under 12-21-2007 06:20 PM

and its cool that your names are Crowe and Crowquill. nothing will split up this partnership.

Crowe and Crowquill, ****ing fathers till the end of time

EDIT:

Crowe 12-21-2007 11:50 PM

Trauma 12-23-2007 02:32 AM

This is very well written.
Provacative.
Maybe you could have titled it something other than "Daddy ****ed Me" so it could actually be taken semi-seriously.

Ummm... twas good I guess, but it was very similar to Tool's "Prison Sex". Not just the subject matter either...

Crowe 12-30-2007 07:31 PM

Just read "Prison Sex", besides male rape I don't see many comparisons -- different stylings, the vocabulary set is completely different, the point of view from the teller of the story. The complete lack of setting in Tool's song... the strong use of metaphors contrasts with our blatant imagery...

Again, besides the male rape and perhaps the insinuation of the narrator's youth troubles with the issue... well, that's about it, am I right?

Crowquill, you know what we should do from now on. Look at other people's songs and make slight variations and then release it together and see if anybody notices!

Yes! And instead of stealing it from songwriters we respect and adore let's steal them from songwriters who I've openly shamed on the forum and said I thought were shit time and time again!

Crowe 12-30-2007 07:37 PM

Nobody can stop us this time.

Did I ever say you plagarized from them? No, I only noted the similarity.

Did you ignore the part where the protaganist turns things around at the end and "gets the last laugh" (not exactly what I mean, but couldn't think of anything better). And how the beginning of the song is structured the same as the end of the song on both.

Crowe 01-01-2008 06:46 PM

The beginning of the song, is structured the same... as the END of the song... on both? Whaaaat? I want to explain the difference - but maybe I'm missing something... can you show me the how it is the same at all structurally between the songs, at both the beginning and the end?

And also the "Getting the last laugh" is... well not accurate. They come to terms with the situation in completely different ways -- Tool's guy continues the rape cycle, while our boy kills his father and tries to fall asleep next to his dead body with his brother. This "last laugh, turn around" ending is not unique to Tool. It spans the full spectrum of literary mediums. So while it is "similar" to the Tool song that I've never heard, it's also "similar" to most Shakespearean tragedies, Batman comics and Days of Our Lives. Again the only strong similarity is the male rape... and maybe the stained youth. Tool's song reminds me of the movie, Sleepers. Mm hm.

this was great lolness

Wifey Boozer 10-17-2008 03:50 PM

Since FaSho bumped this, I feel compelled to say that despite my personal feelings (/lackof) for Ethan, this was ****ing awesome. Love the blunt subject matter, the style. I think the title's just fine. Candor, ftw.
