"Perch"

I almost slipped off the shingles-
Well, are they shingles?- of this
twentysomething story Building.

Not sure how I- What the hell
is that roof made of?- got up, Way Up,
here, but I'm not
crazy, so give me a little time
to explain where I'm standing
right now.

Now this goddamn roof- Goddamned to Hell-
almost gave me the slip,
but I slipped it the slip back!

Well that's not completely true...
I was singing for this person-
Am I mediocre?- and he gave me the slip, so I jumped, and I thought,
"Good thing I can fly!"

I must have scared him too because he-
He's not up here anymore- he Jumped,
like me, but I can fly- up!- and he,
he can only fly for a little while, down...

Sorry for the mix-up.
I forgot that they aren't automatically created on here-- I should have used two hyphens!
