Foo Fighting's Collection

Take a look outside the window,
At the horizon.
Can you see the light,
Or are you blinded,

By the glare of the television,
Technology's glow.
Can you stop its deathly mission,
Or is this the final blow?

It's time to stop the crap,
Or take the wrath.
Just get a life,
And you'll be surprised

Take a step outside
You'd be surprised
At what lies
With the bees and flies
Take a deep breath
And take a deep dive
Into the real world
And just live your life

You'd be surprised
At what lies outside your oak front door
You'd be surprised
By so much more
Than just computer games
'Coz theres so heaps heaps more
Outside.

Theres strangers, mangers,
flus that are contagious.
Teachers, preachers,
Freshwater Leeches.
Cats and dogs,
Man-eating bogs.
Sports, weather,
man leather.
Reading glasses,
big fat...
uhh... Donkeys!

So take a step outside
You'd be surprised
At what lies
With the bees and flies
Take a deep breath
And take a deep dive
Into the real world
And just live your life

You'd be pretty damn surprised.

'Rainy Saturday'

I could feel it from the start,
It was irrepressable.
First feel of love,
Unbelievable.

You're the one:
Perfect in every way.
The one I met
On Rainy Saturday.

You warmed me up
And took me in
You made me laugh
And made me grin.
You're the sunshine in my day.
For every Rainy Saturday.

You gave me shelter
Before we even spoke.
Through the pouring rain,
You gave me your coat.

You save me from more than just wet hair
HA!
You took me from my cold despair.
I was saved...
on Rainy Saturday.

You warmed me up
And took me in
You made me laugh
And made me grin.
You're the sunshine in my day.
For every Rainy Saturday.

You're the sunshine in my day,
For every single Rainy Saturday.

Start of 'New Craze'

I hear the radio blaring,
It's driving me insane.
With all that constant swearing,
Those songs are so ***.

So we've gotta make our voice heard.
And have my word.
Plug in the cord.

It's a voice of a new age
Rip it up and turn the page
You're a part of a new craze
Music's in a new phase.

I just want to know if it's crap or not. Should I keep it going, improve it, or scrap the song?

'Video Killed the Radio Star' Modernised

THIS SONG IS TO THE BEAT OF THE SONG: VIDEO KILLED THE RADIO STAR by The Buggles

T.V. killed the fat loser.
Maccas killed America.
The Simpsons killed the 'Ha Ha Ha Ha'.
Government screwed the people over.

Video smashed the radio up.
Music T.V. really f###ed up.
Camera stuffed up all the good shots.
AND
Video killed the radio star.
Video killed the radio star.
Video killed the radio star.
Video killed the radio star.

Thoughts? I think I breached the Copyright :D

'Hayley'

I had a friend
When I was a little girl.
To me
She meant the world.

I saw her everyday
And everyday I laughed.
She stuck by me
Whenever I was stuck.
Always, she gave me a hand.
That hand pulled me back to land.
If I couldn't find my way
She'd come over and say
'Hey Hey'

Hayley
I remember you
Now I see
How much you meant to me
How much you mean now
I need to see you
Somehow.

Someday
I'll find a way
We'll see each other again
And when we do
I will say
Hey Hey.

Hayley.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
This song is about my friend from Grade 2, Hayley M. I hadn't talked to her for years, until I found her last year, in Year 7.
I found her on MySpace, and I was so surprised. Keep it in mind that when I wrote this song, it was before I found Hayley on MySpace.
