Default Yon Troper's Song of Ice And Fire Rock Opera

I'm trying to develop a rock opera based on George R.R. Martin's Song of Ice and Fire fantasy series. I'd probably base it on A Storm of Swords, the third book in the series, because that's the one with a lot of drama and action (end of the war and all that). Daenerys' story is not included in the album, since I only want to focus on the events in Westeros.

Actually, I was wondering about collaborations - if there are any other Song of Ice and Fire fans on this site and you want to contribute some lyrics, let me know!

This is a song based off the Red Wedding in the book. (BTW, probably some spoilers for the books in here, so be careful of that.)

Part I - The Wedding Feast
[a variety of instrumental parts played on medieval instruments. Less obvious drum and electric guitar parts play under them towards the end, leading in to...]

Part II - The Rains of Castamere
[a rock version of the song from the book]

Minstrels:
"And who are you," the proud lord said
"That I must bow so low?"
"Only a cat of a different coat"
"That's all the truth I know"
"In a coat of gold or a coat of red a lion still has claws"
"And mine are long and sharp my lord"
"As long and sharp as yours"
And so he spoke, and so he spoke
The lord of Castamere
But now the rains weep o'er his hall
With no one there to hear
Yes now the rains weep o'er his hall
And not a soul to hear

Catelyn:
I fear for my life tonight
Lord Tywin's song is played
It spells our doom, we all shall die
The Stranger calls tonight

Part III - The Attack
[instrumental. Faintly, sounds of battle and death can be heard.]

Part IV - Three Deaths

Walder Frey:
See the King in the North arise
His men all taken, soaked in blood
Apologies help not, King in the North
Your followers they will not mend

You betrayed us, King in the North
My daughter you promised to wed
You left for another, King in the North
This night your reign shall come to an end

Catelyn:
Enough, I say
Now let this end
Repay blood with blood
This is not the way

You would take my firstborn
But let this go
We will never return
We shall all forget

Walder:
He shall not live
This is one slight too far
The Stranger comes
For the both of you

Catelyn:
A son for a son
One life for another
If this is the way
Then so be it

If my son shall die
Then so will yours

Roose Bolton (spoken):
Jaime Lannister sends his regards.

[sound of a person being stabbed, groaning, body hitting the floor. This is followed by the same sound a minute later.]

[ravens cawing; Catelyn screams, and eventually the screams turn to laughter]

Ryman Frey:
The woman is mad
Laughter in pain
The Stranger will be pleased tonight

[same sound of a throat being slit]

((I know, it's not much good...))
